Canadian entrepreneur Derek Muhs enjoyed a decade of success in the real estate & property development sectors in the Canary Islands, Spain, and Cape Verde in both the residential and commercial sectors.  

He was one of the founders and the Managing Director of the Atlantic International Property Group (AIP).

Since 2008 Derek has been working and investing in the real estate, health care & biotech sectors within greater China. In 2009 Derek co-founded Cellular Biomedicine Group (NASDAQ: CBMG) and WA Health Care, which opened two private health centers in Shanghai and Beijing. In 2015 WA Health Care was 70% acquired by the iKang Health Care Group (NASDAQ: KANG). Derek now serves on the Board of Directors.

Derek continues to be active in Health-Focused PR & Digital Media with a focus on eHealth & mHealth development projects. He is an invited speaker at investment & educational conferences throughout Asia.
